Shipping policy

We aim to have all orders packed and ready to go within 1–2 business days of receiving your payment.

For orders within Aotearoa New Zealand, we use a tracked courier service. While most parcels arrive within 1–5 business days after dispatch, delivery times can vary depending on your location and courier network delays.

Once your order has been dispatched, you’ll receive tracking details so you can follow your parcel on its journey.

Please note: These processing and delivery timeframes do not apply to pre-order items. Estimated dispatch and shipping information for pre-orders will be clearly stated on the individual product page at the time of purchase.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

International orders are sent using NZ Post. Our standard processing time of 1–2 business days applies before dispatch.

International delivery generally takes approximately 3–9 business days, depending on your destination, customs processing and local delivery services.

Once your parcel is on its way, you’ll receive a tracking number. After your order has left us, any enquiries regarding the location or delivery of your parcel should be made directly with NZ Post using your tracking information.

CUSTOMS, DUTIES & IMPORT TAXES

International customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, clearance fees or other charges applied by their destination country. These costs are not included in the prices displayed on our website or in our shipping charges.

Customs requirements differ between countries, so we recommend checking your local import regulations and potential charges before placing your order. Mau Aotearoa cannot be held responsible for delays caused by customs or border authorities.

We also recommend keeping an eye on your tracking once your parcel reaches your destination country, as you may be required to provide information or make payment before your parcel can be released.

If you choose to refuse or reject delivery because of customs duties, taxes or other import charges, a $30 return shipping fee will be deducted from any store credit issued. Any additional fees charged to Mau Aotearoa for the return of the parcel will also be deducted from the store credit.

Please also be aware that if you place multiple orders within a similar timeframe, your country's customs or border authority may combine the value of those shipments when assessing duties and taxes. Any resulting charges remain the responsibility of the customer.
